Utatu Opus: a 13 MW solar case, from sunlight to payback

Utatu Opus was seeking investment for 65 rooftop solar systems across Uganda. We designed and animated a proposal that walks investors from the opportunity to the returns.

The challenge

The proposal had to explain a technical project (65 grid-tied 200 kW systems on factories, schools and hospitals) and its projected returns: $10.69M capex, 19.6% ROI, 24.15% IRR and a 7.1-year payback.

Figures like these lose investors when they arrive as a spreadsheet. They needed an order and a clear hierarchy.
